As we continue to address the Covid challenges facing us all, we wanted to assure you that UFA remains committed to taking the necessary precautions to make our training/game environment as safe as possible for our players, coaches, and parents. Please read the information below and let's all work together to keep everyone safe. UFA has taken into account the guidelines set forth by the County, State and the CDC in order to make decisions for our environment.

FAQs & Guidelines

What happens if schools shutdown? The decisions the schools make will not affect our decisions and will not directly impact our access to fields. Only local city/county authorities may determine access to our fields. If the local authorities do restrict the use of our fields for a period of time, we will make every effort to make up lost games/practices as soon as we can.
What happens if we have another suspension or cancellation? Will I get a refund?

For our recreational members, we will offer a prorated refund. Amounts would differ depending on the time of the season, how many weeks we were able to finish, etc.

For our Academy and Select members, we will stop all payment plans until we are able to start up again. If you paid in full, we would calculate a prorated amount. Once we are able to resume training, we would look to extend the season to make up for lost training and games. If we are able to do that, then all fees would be due.

Please follow these guidelines before coming to the fields each day:

  • Take your child’s temperature. If they have a fever or display any other symptoms for the Coronavirus, please stay home.
  • Wash and sanitize all equipment each day
  • Use bathroom and wash hands prior to and after attending camp
  • Supply your child with their own hand sanitizer
  • No sharing of food, water or equipment
  • No high-fives or handshakes
  • Notify coach if your player becomes ill
  • Parents must then remain in their cars and avoid gathering on the fields.

Please familiarize yourself with the CDC Considerations for Youth Sports and US Soccer Play On Guidelines.

In the event of Covid-19 symptoms or exposure, please follow the latest CDC guidelines highlighted below. The latest Dec 2, 2020 guidelines may be found here.

  • If you had, or think you had, Covid-19 and had symptoms, you can be with others after 3 days with no fever and, respiratory symptoms have improved, and 10 days since symptoms first appeared have passed.
  • If you tested positive for Covid-19 but had and continue to have no symptoms, you can be with others after 10 days have passed since the test.
  • If you have been in close contact with a person with Covid-19, you should quarantine for 10 days after exposure OR quarantine can end after Day 7 with a negative test result and if there are no symptoms. The test may be taken on Day 5, but quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than after Day 7. Exposed people should continue to monitor for any symptoms through Day 14.
